-What is a bath bomb?
A bath bomb is a ball that you toss into the tub while bathing. It fizzes and skips around your bath tub as it dissolves, releasing its scent and moisturizing ingredients. Bath bombs are a lot of fun due to their fizzing action - both kids and adults love them, and they leave your skin silky soft!
-Is a bath bomb a type of soap?
No, bath bombs aren't like soap. They don't clean your skin in the same way soap does. They are typically used after washing with soap in the bath in order to soak, relax, and enjoy the aromatherapy and moisturizing benefits of the bomb.
-Will your bath bombs stain my tub?
Generally speaking, no. :) Modern plastic or porcelain tubs will not be stained at all with proper use (meaning that you fill your tub with water to dilute the bath bomb). Our colorants are the same ones that cake decorators use for coloring icing, so they are completely water soluable. However, if you have a very old bathtub that is rather porous, you may wish to stick with light colored bath bombs to be completely safe.
-Will your bath bombs stain ME?
Unfortunately, this CAN happen from time to time if you are touching the bath bomb as it fizzes around your tub. This generally only happens with bright or dark colored bath bombs, and it only affects your hands (or whatever has been touching the bomb itself). Never fear - the colors usually wash right off with soap and water! If you have been holding the wet bath bomb for a long time, it might take a day or two to come off completely, but rest assured that the effects are not permanent (or we would always have bright pink hands!).
-Do the colors of the bombs fade with time?
It's definitely possible. We've seen the bath bombs fade under direct prolonged exposure to UV and fluorescent lighting, especially the pink and purple colors. We strongly recommend that if you want your colors to remain bright and vibrant, you store them somewhere dark until you use them. If the colors do fade, don't worry - the bomb will still react the same way with water!
-How do I use your fizzy scrubs?
There are two ways you can use it: 1) As a bath soak - simply scoop out the desired amount of scrub with a spoon and dump it into the tub; soak and moisturize the dry skin away! Or 2) Use it as a scrub - scoop out a small amount of the scrub with a spoon and put it in your hand. Wet the scrub to activate the fizzing and moisturizers and gently rub it onto your driest areas. Then rinse and feel the soft, smooth skin! (When using fizzy scrub in this manner, we recommend that you use this BEFORE shaving, as shaving can make your skin sensitive to the sea salts!)
-Will your products irritate my skin / cause skin allergies?
This can be a hard question to answer, as everyone's skin is different. What we can say is that we select the purest ingredients that we can find for our products, and that we clearly display our ingredient list on our listings. If you are concerned about skin allergies, please check the ingredient list. We do not use harsh chemicals in our products in order to minimize irritation; however, if you have extremely sensitive skin, it may be a good idea to order samples to try before you buy.
-Do your products contain preservatives?
Our bath bombs do NOT contain preservatives. They simply don't need them. After each bomb is made, it is shrink wrapped to protect it from humidity and bacteria. This is enough to keep it fresh and ready for use.
Our fizzy scrubs, however, DO tend to need a preservative to keep them fresh. This is because you will be using them over a long period of time in humid, hot conditions. While we strive to keep our products as natural as possible, our research on natural preservatives has indicated that all 100% natural preservatives are just not all that effective in skin-safe amounts. Therefore, for our fizzy scrubs, we have recently elected to use a preservative called Cosmocil CQ to keep them fresh and safe for our customers. However, if this makes you uncomfortable, you can always request that we leave out the preservative from your fizzy scrub. In this case, we highly recommend that you keep it refrigerated between uses.
-How long will it take for my items to ship?

-Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. Per Oklahoma state law, we charge 8.25% sales tax to buyers who reside within the state of Oklahoma. We are not required to charge sales tax to out of state buyers, though. Sorry, fellow Okies! :)
